Icons break up your text and make it much more digestible. They’re simple but make your presentation look amazing. So how can you create custom icons for your presentation?
- First, you have to create your icon in a vector graphics software such as Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator and save it in SVG format. You can also download icons in SVG format on the Internet.
- To insert the SVG file, drag and drop the file from file explorer onto any PowerPoint slide.
- Next, you have to convert the SVG image into an object that can be edited in PowerPoint. Select the icon, right-click and choose Convert to Shape.
- You’ll be able to resize and recolor it just like with any native shape in PowerPoint.
